The Installation Of Ceiling Fan With Light

The Installation Of Ceiling Fan With Light

The Ceiling Fan with Light is very popular in summer. Our guide covers all you need to know about ceiling fan installation.

Before You Begin

  • Where To Install A Ceiling Fan

  1. Must be installed at least 7 feet above the ground
  2. 8" – 10" between the ceiling and the fan's blades
  3. 30 inches from the walls and other obstructions
  • Electricity to Room

The power in the room must be turned off for safety.

  • Erecting Tools

  1. At least two people
  2. Screwdriver
  3. Step ladder
  4. Wire stripper
  5. Electrical tape
  6. Drill
  7. Wrench

When You Install

  • The First Installation Method------ Flush Mount / Ceiling Mount
  • Installation of the hanging bracket (suspension part)
For Wooden Ceiling For Concrete Ceiling
Use a wood screw to drill on the wooden beam or the "junction box" to fix the hanging bracket Use the percussion bit with a diameter of 8mm to drill holes according to the length of the expansion screws. Then use the attached expansion screws to fix the hanging bracket on the ceiling

IMPORTANT: SCREWS MUST BE TIGHTENED TILL SNUG

Tighten the hanger bracket to the outlet box with 2 mounting screws. (To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury, mount to the outlet box marked “Acceptable for fan support and use mounting screws provided with the outlet box.)

  • Install the hanging part of the ceiling fan

According to the manufacturer's directions, assemble the fan and downrod on the floor. (If your fan light does not have a downrod, you can skip this step)

There are several common ways of the general downrod:

Style 01:

Install Download Assembly:

Step 1:Thread the suspender through the suspended clock and coupling cover

Step 2:Then Insert the tail of the suspender from the lifting head of the motor

Step 3: After the lateral pin is threaded out from the suspended head position. insert R type pin

Step 4:Tighten the lifting head screws

Step 5:Hang the fan of the hanging pipe into the hanger

Style 02:

Install Download Assembly:

Step 1:Thread the suspender through the suspended clock and coupling cover

Step 2:Then Insert the tail of the suspender from the left head of the motor

Step 3:Remove the lateral pin from the suspended head position, secure R type pin(Clevis pin)

Step 4:Tighten the lining head screws. Tighten the 2 Set Screws on the Coupling to serve as a clamping force on the Downrod to prevent fan shaking duringoperaon

Step 5: Route the Coupling cover, Canopy Ring, Canopy, and Hanger Ball through the Downrod in turn, and then install the Lock pin through the hole on the Downrod. Fix it by Screw, then slip down the Coupling Cover in the correct position.

Style 03:

Install Download Assembly:

Step 1:Thread the suspender through the suspended clock and coupling cover

Step 2: Then insert the tail of the suspender from the liing head of the motor

Step 3: Remove the lateral pin out from the suspended head posion, secure R type pin(Clevis pin)

Step 4: Tighten the liing head screws. Tighten the 2 Set Screws on the Coupling to serve as a clamping force on the Downrod to prevent fan shaking duringoperaon

Style 04:

Install Download Assembly:

Step 1:Thread the suspender through the suspended clock and coupling cover

Step 2:Then insert the tail of the suspender from the lifting head of the motor

Step 3:After the lateral pin is threaded out from the suspended head position, insert R type pin

Step 4:Tighten the lifting head screws

Step 5:Hang the fan of the hanging pipe into the hanger

  • Assemble fan fittings according to the instructions

Step 1: Making the electrical connections

IMPORTANT: Use the plastic wire connectors(BB) supplied with your fan.
Secure the connectors with electrical tape and ensure there are no loose strands or connections.

Step 2: Install the canopy

Step 3: Installing remote control receiver

Step 4: Attaching the fan blades

Step 5: Attaching the Lights

  •  The Second Installation Method------ Angled
    • Calculate ceiling angle

Note: If your ceiling rake exceeds 15 degrees, we don’t carry any suitable products for your ceiling at present.

    • Basic assembly of the fan

    Step 1: Decompose drown rod

Step 2: Pass the cable through the down rod and lock the down rod

Step 3: Install in order the yoke cover, Canopy, and Hanging Ball on the installed Down rod. slide the Hanging Ball down to expose the hole, put the fixing pin into the hole, and slide the Hanging Ball up and turn it left and right, let the fixing pin enter the Hanging Ball card slot

    • Ceiling bracket installation and fan into the installed bracket

Step 1: Turn off the fan power supply at the circuit breaker box and the wall switch

    Step 2:

Can be installed on <15º sloped roof.

Choose the following installation methods according to the actual situation of the roof

Step 3:  Snap the basically assembled fan into the installed Bracket

    • Receiver and wiring installation

    • Blades and Light kit installation

    • Installation of light cover

    • Switch it on and the ceiling fan works

WARNING: Make sure the power is off at the electrical panel box before you attempt any repairs

    • Trouble Shooting

Q1: Why is my fan not turning on?

    A1:

1). Check the main and branch circuit fuses or breakers

2). Check the line wire connections to the fan and switch wire connections in the switch housing

3). Check to make sure the frequency switches from the remote control and receiver are set to the same frequency

Q2: How to fix a noisy fan?

    A2:

1). Make sure all motor housing screws are snug

2). Make sure the screws that attach the fan blade to the motor hub are tight

3). Make sure the wire nut connections are not rattling against each other or the interior wall of the switch housing

4). Allow a 24-hour "breaking-in" period. Most noises associated with a new fan disappear during this time

5). If using the ceiling light kit, make sure the glassware is secured tightly

6). Make sure there is a short distance from the ceiling to the canopy. It should not touch the ceiling

7). Make sure your ceiling box is secure and that rubber isolator pads are used between the mounting bracket and outlet box

Q3: Why is my remote control not working?

    A3:

1). Do not connect the fan with wall-mounted variable speed control(s)

2). Make sure the frequency switches are set correctly
