Introducing the next generation Fire Resistant Electrical Outlet Box / Junction Box designed specifically for your lighting projects. This Fire Rated Box also serves as a Fire Resistant Recessed Housing, allowing for the direct installation of surface mount fixtures or most 4-inch recessed fixtures. Compatible with standard 4" downlight retrofit kits, it eliminates the need for modifications, making your lighting project planning easier and more cost-effective. This Fire Resistant Box comes equipped with hanger bars, suitable for both ceiling joist and drop ceiling (with T-bar Grid) installations. It can be fully covered by thermal insulation and features 8 knockout options for easy wiring. With its ability to safely make direct contact with combustible materials like ceiling joists or floor boards, this Fire Rated Box ensures optimal safety. It is Title 24 compliant, Air-Tight, and ETL listed, meeting the highest standards in the industry. Additionally, it conforms to UL 514A metallic outlet box, offering a fire rating of up to 2 hours, and UL1598 recessed luminaire housing rating IC.

2 Hour Fire Rated UL Listed:

Our fire rated new construction recessed can is ETL Certified, Complies with UL 1598 UL 263/ASTM E119 for a 2-hours Fire Test Rating, and CAN/ULC S101.

Air Tight & IC Rated:

Airtight (Per ASTM-E283), It can well isolate the indoor temperature from the outdoor temperature to avoid cold air or warm air from leaking out of the house to avoid affecting the air conditioning effect. It is thermally protected, surrounded by insulation materials and can be well moisture-proof, to protect the safety of electricity.

Galvanlzed Steel Construction

The recessed lighting housing can be removed from plaster frame to provide access to the junction box and has 14.96" to 25.6" bar hangers with captive nails and alignment foot.

Junction Box :

Contains three 1-1/8", three 7/8" knockouts and four Romex pry outs with strain relief.

Easy Installation & Widely Application

This 4 inch recessed light can also comes with TP24 quick connector, it's easier for you to install the retrofit lighting.It can be perfectly applied in different types of structural layouts.Ideal for both residential and commercial new construction projects.

Return

Product conditions
Items need to be returned in a like-new condition. Items that are damaged, unsanitary, dented, scratched or missing major contents may be denied a return.

Please return items with all accessories and packaging. If you do not, we may either deny the return, or allow a return with a nonrefundable deduction on your refund for what is missing or damaged.

 

Shipping
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are nonrefundable.

 

Refunds
Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.
